XML Connection™ (XMLC) products provide an extensive suite of Web service application programming interfaces (APIs) for network integrators and application developers. You can query and extract pertinent information from Renesys’ extensive databases, then generate and publish customized reports and customer-specific Web portals.

Renesys APIs make it easy to instate automated queries on specified networks, geographic regions or Internet events. And because it’s standardized on HTTP and XML, you can readily integrate XML Connection data services with any third-party operating system or application. Each service is accessed through a secure HTTP POST or GET and returns an XML document that can be transformed or parsed to suit your needs.

• Trends are calculated over various time spans: days, months and years (back to January, 2002). This historical perspective can reveal an unstable network that is unlikely to be apparent with just day-to-day observation.
• Unique macro to micro geographic IP analysis: worldwide, continent, country, state or province, metropolitan area.
